Making Artisanal Chocolate

(1 day)

The journey from cacao tree to chocolate bar is not complex, but it requires several steps, each of which require careful treatment to get the best from the finished product.

 

Travellers will participate during the 10 steps to make a delicious chocolate. (1 day)

This experience takes 8 hours starting at 8:00h and ending at 18:00h.  Lunch is included from 12:00h-14:00h.

Making Amazonian Crafts

(1 day)

Learn how to make traditional Amazonian crafts with women and seniors from our native communities. This experiential workshop involves the traveler from the extraction of the raw material to the final product.  The workshop allows the traveler to learn and work creatively with different materials under the supervision of our artisans.  We focus on Vegetable Fiber Fabrics, Textile and Imitation Jewelry.

 

DAY ONE: Search for raw materials - Elaboration of traditional crafts

 

- Transportation in tuc tuc and trekking to the jungle in search of raw material.  We will get different plants, seeds, stones, etc.  (8:00h)

 

- Lunch (12:30h)

 

- Handicraft production with native craftsmen.  (14:00h)

Making Artisanal Cheese & Yogurt

(1 day)

In this experiential course, you will discover each and every one of the steps to follow for the manufacture of cheese and yogurt.  From milking the fresh milk in our cows to the product packaged, labeled and ready to eat and drink.

DAY ONE: Milking Cows & Making Cheese-Yogur

-Visit to the cattle stable or family plantation (8:00 a.m.)

 

-Explanation about food, breeds, care, etc. (9:00h)

 

-Explanation about the types of milking (10: 00h)

 

-Milking time (10:30h)

 

-Lunch (12: 00h) (Included)

 

-We go to workshop place (2:00 p.m.)

 

-Explanation on methods of conservation of milk and derivatives (14:30)

 

-Preparation of the milk (3:00 p.m.)

 

-Cheese making (4:00 p.m.)

DAY ONE: Welcome day - Ayahuasca Ceremony #1

 

- According to the arrival of each traveler.  We take them to walk through the village with an introduction to the local community.

- Light dinner (18:00h.)

- Anteroom, Ayahuasca Ceremony#1 (19:00h.)

- Start of Ayahuasca Ceremony #1.   (21:00h.)

- End of Ayahuasca Ceremony #1.    (2:00h.)

 

DAY TWO:  We have two options to choose depending on the physical and emotional state of travellers after the first ceremony of Ayahuasca.

 

(Option 1)

 

- Exploration of the Jungle with Master Shaman in search of medicinal plants and explanation of the use of each plant. (11:30h.)

- Lunch in the jungle (13:00h)

- Return to Puerto Inca (17:00h)

- Dinner (19:00h)

 

(Option 2)

 

- Relaxation time in Pintuyacu Stream.  Time to swim and enjoy the tropical climate of Puerto Inca. (11:30h)

- Lunch in the jungle (13:00h)

- Return to Puerto Inca. (17:00h)

 - Dinner (19:00h)

 

DAY THREE: Search for Medicinal Plants and Ayahuasca Ceremony #2

 

- Exploration of the Jungle with Master Shaman in search of medicinal plants and explanation of the use of each plant. (7:00h)

- Return to Puerto Inca (12:00h)

- Lunch   (13:00h)

- Light dinner   (18:00h)

Have you ever wrapped your meal  in a banana or abijao leaf?

In this experiential workshop the participant has the opportunity to learn to cook 2 entrees, 2 main dishes, a dessert and a soft drink.
